This feature allows scheduling of the products you have uploaded for a given advertiser. The data feed will be scheduled based on the timezone set for the advertiser. If the timezone is changed, the data feed will also need to be rescheduled accordingly.

To set up your Data Feed Schedule, you have two sections to fill out. The first section includes how frequently you want your data feed to be updated into Adacado’s platform. The second section includes time of day, and more specifically at what time the data feed information should be pulled from an advertiser’s website.

Why is the data feed schedule important?

The data feed schedule is important so that product data can continuously be updated and pulled from an advertiser’s website. This is especially important for advertisers holding large quantities of inventory, and inventory that is constantly changing. For example, if an advertiser’s website shows products that are sold out, the advertiser will want these changes to reflect their uploaded product feed.

How to schedule your data feed

Once you have set up your advertiser, have given your campaign a name, and have chosen an objective, you will be taken to the Product Settings page.

Next, you will choose to either upload your products at the ‘campaign’ or ‘advertiser’ level.

advertiser or campaign

*More on campaign vs advertiser level data here.*

You can upload your products either using HTTP/HTTPS or FTP Host address. In this case we will upload by CSV file (HTTP/HTTPS) protocol.

Choose the HTTPS/HTTPS protocol, paste your csv file link into the field, and click ‘fetch sample’.

The system will read your csv and auto-map any data-fields (columns in the csv) it detects. If any fields are not mapped, drag a data field to the desired location.

Finally, it’s time to set up your data feed schedule. Here you will set the frequency and time of day for your product feed to be updated.
