What is QuickStart?

Quickstart is an option for creating advertisers and campaigns with a simplified setup process for various ad types:

Preconfigured Settings by Quickstart Options

Static Ads

  • Business Type: Retail, Auto, Real Estate, Hotel, Service

How to Get Started with Quickstart

Follow these steps to get started with Quickstart tailored to your ad type. If you are interested in creating dynamic shoppable ads with Shopify products, visit “Simplified Shopify Ad Creation: Boost Your Campaigns with Shoppable Ads.

Step 1: Access Quickstart

When Creating an Initial Advertiser After Signing Up for Adacado

After signing up for Adacado, you’ll be prompted to answer survey questions to help us better understand your needs and provide optimized solutions.

Choose the “Quickstart” option to proceed with creating your initial advertiser and campaign. The default Quickstart options are presented based on the ad type selected during the survey.

When Adding a New Advertiser

If you’re already an Adacado user:

  • Click the list icon next to the advertiser name box and select “New Advertiser.
  • Choose ”Quickstart”, and then select an option that best suits your advertiser and campaign.

Step 2: Create an Advertiser

Provide your advertiser information, including the advertiser name, website URL, and business type. For Shopify Quickstart, enter your Shopify store information.

Step 3: Configure Quickstart Settings

Static Ads

Customize Ad Creatives

  • Review your ads created with the default Quickstart static solution.
  • To explore more creative options, click “View More Design Options.
  • Replace the default logo image with your company logo.
  • Access the simplified creative editor by clicking on each thumbnail for minor adjustments, such as changing the color of the font or CTA button, or repositioning and resizing the image and message.
  • For more advanced editing features, like changing the font type or size, choose “Creative” in the campaign dropdown menu to access the complete version of the Creative Editor.

IMPORTANT:

Choosing an option from the campaign dropdown menu will exit the Quickstart process, providing full access to all menus and features of the platform.

Standard Dynamic Ads

Configure Product Data

  • After creating the advertiser, choose a data source, add your data feed, and click “Import Data” to generate your product data.
  • Review the generated sample product data and confirm or adjust data mapping.

Customize Ad Creatives

  • Follow the same steps for customizing ad creatives as outlined for the static ads option above. The ads will automatically showcase products from your data feed.

Frames per Ad

  • An ad consists of one or more frames (templates), each displaying one or more products.
  • When an ad plays, each frame is sequentially displayed for an equal duration, totaling 30 seconds. The default setting is 5 frames, and you can specify the number of frames per ad here (Max: 10 frames).
Dynamic Shoppable Ads (Shopify)

This Quickstart option requires a Dispatch connection to automatically download products from the Shopify store for creating dynamic ads, with or without the “In-Ad Checkout” feature. For detailed instructions, visit “Simplified Shopify Ad Creation: Boost Your Campaigns with Shoppable Ads.

Step 4: Review Advertiser Information and Targeting

Before launching your campaign, review your advertiser details and campaign setup, including targeting and budget. Edit any necessary details by clicking the gear icon next to each field.

Step 5: Enter Your Billing Information and Launch Your Campaign

Serve My Ads

After finalizing your ad creative and reviewing campaign settings, click “Serve My Ads” to activate your campaign.

Subsequently, enter your billing information and click “Save and Serve My Ads” to enable the “Run Display Ads” media channel, a default media channel for all Quickstart options. This allows Adacado to purchase media for your campaign.

You will then be directed to the “Campaign Analytics” page, where a notification will inform you that your ads will be ready shortly. Your ads will undergo the creative approval process at ad networks, and later, you can check key metrics on this page to confirm whether your ad has gone live.

Save and Continue Later

If you need additional time to review and adjust your campaign settings or prefer using your third-party DSP for media buying instead of Adacado, use the “Save and Continue Later” option.

Click the link below the “Serve My Ads” button, and upon doing so, you’ll be directed to the “Ad Delivery Settings” page of your campaign.

While here, you can:

  • Access the full menus and features of the platform, including Creative Editor and Product Settings, by selecting menus in the advertiser and campaign dropdown or in the platform footer. 
  • Download Adacado’s ad tags to run your ads through a third-party DSP.
  • Adjust the media channel settings for the “Run Display Ads”, such as audience targeting, scheduling ad delivery, or activating/deactivating the channel. 

When you log in to the platform at a later time, the campaign with the creative you selected during the Quickstart process will be open, and you should follow the standard campaign setup process from there.

IMPORTANT:

Regardless of whether you purchase media through Adacado or the third-party DSP, entering your billing information is essential. Once you have exited Quickstart, access the billing information page by clicking on your account menu at the top right corner of the platform header and then selecting “Account & Payment Info.”

Then, click on “Billing” on the left and enter your billing information.

Step 6: Implement Adacado Pixel

If you’ve selected a retargeting solution for the Quickstart – Standard Dynamic Ads, implement Adacado pixels with product ID placeholders on every product page to be retargeted. Learn more about how to implement Adacado pixel.
