NOTE: If you want to use your own DSP with Adacado’s creative ad tags, you can skip this section and refer to the “Media Channel: Third-Party DSP”. To activate, deactivate, or schedule your campaign and set up targeting (excluding product targeting) when using a third-party DSP with Adacado’s ad tags, the configuration must be done within your chosen DSP, not within Adacado.
To launch your campaign and start serving ads, you need to activate your selected media channel. This process includes configuring the channel’s settings and entering your billing information, including credit card details.
For your first campaign created with Freemium Ads during the initial signup process, your ads will automatically be served via the “Display Ads” channel without requiring your credit card information. Otherwise, you must manually activate your media channel to deliver your ads to your audience.
Refer to the table below to understand what each media channel status stands for:
There are currently 4 media channels available for you to choose from:
Each media channel is automatically assigned a unique media channel ID by the system. Providing us with the media channel ID can expedite issue resolution related to ad serving.
Utilize the scheduler to enable media buying for a specific time period by selecting start and end dates from the calendar. The media channel must be set to “Active” for the schedule to take effect. If multiple media channels are active in your campaign, you can view the earliest start date and latest end date among all active channels directly on the scheduler.
Click the “Customize” button to configure each media channel. Adacado provides a streamlined setup for each channel with various targeting options and a daily ad-serving scheduler.
You have the flexibility to manually adjust your spending and targeting based on your needs. If you’re unsure, you can leave these settings unchanged.
