If you’re new to Adacado, our Shopify Quickstart feature is the perfect starting point for your ad campaigns. It streamlines the campaign setup process, using Adacado’s campaign solutions and connecting your existing Shopify products using Dispatch, a powerful distributed commerce tool with in-ad checkout capabilities.
Here’s an overview of the Adacado campaign solutions available for Shopify Quickstart:
|
Quickstart simplifies the process of creating and launching ad campaigns with Shopify products, ensuring a quick and hassle-free experience.
With Shopify Quickstart via Dispatch, there’s no need for a data feed, saving you time and effort in setting up your product data in Adacado. We can directly access your Shopify inventory through Dispatch, automating the product data download process and keeping your ads up to date.
Our Shopify campaign solutions feature an exclusive “In-Ad Checkout” powered by Dispatch. This feature provides a seamless buying experience directly within the ad itself, boosting conversion rates and enhancing the user experience. With a single click on the CTA button (“Buy Now”), viewers can effortlessly transition from interest to purchase without leaving the current page.
NOTE:
If you manage your own data feed for Shopify products and have no interest in direct Shopify integration and shoppable ads, you can opt for the standard process to set up a dynamic product ad campaign with your Shopify products. This can be done by selecting either the “Quickstart – Standard Dynamic Ads” or the ”Standard Setup” option when adding a new advertiser. |
Follow these steps to get started with Shopify Quickstart:
Select the options to create Shopify ads and run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) product-based ads during the optimization survey after signing up for Adacado.
Enter your Shopify store information to create the advertiser.
NOTE:
If you have multiple Shopify stores and wish to run an ad campaign for another store, you can add a new advertiser by selecting the “Quickstart – Dynamic Shoppable Ads (Shopify)” option, enabling you to manage and create unique ad campaigns for multiple Shopify stores within your Adacado account. |
Configure your product data by connecting Dispatch:
1. Enter your Shopify store URL.
2. Click “Connect to Dispatch” to proceed with Dispatch installation in Shopify.
NOTE:
If you prefer using an existing data feed instead of allowing us to access your Shopify store via Dispatch, click the provided link on this page and follow the standard Quickstart path for dynamic product ad creation. |
Click the “Install” button to connect the Dispatch to your store and complete the setup process in Shopify.
NOTE:
If you’ve already installed the Dispatch app to your store before signing up for Adacado, click the “Open app” button on this page and skip to step 6. |
On the “Approve subscription” page, select a payment method for using Dispatch and enter your payment details.
NOTE:
Using Dispatch to import your product data and keep them current in Adacado is free. However, Dispatch will charge you a 5% commission fee for any sale generated through a Dispatch-powered checkout. |
Click the “Accept” button on the “Dispatch Channel Overview” page to allow Adacado to connect to your store and import your product data. On this page, you can see how many of your products are available to be automatically uploaded to the Adacado system to generate your product data.
After the Dispatch app installation, go to the “Configure Your Product Data” page on the Adacado platform again. On this page, click “I have connected to Dispatch” to view your sample products, then click “Confirm” to finish the product data setup process.
NOTE:
You will be charged a product cost at Adacado when generating and storing more than five products, regardless of whether your campaign is live or not. |
Find your ads created with your product data using the default Shopify Quickstart solution with Dispatch’s “In-Ad Checkout” embedded in the ad creative.
Complete your ad creation by uploading your logo. If you wish to edit creative, click on the ad to open the simplified creative editor and make the necessary changes (e.g., changing the CTA button color).
NOTE:
Dispatch will charge a 5% commission fee for any sale generated through a Dispatch-powered checkout embedded in Shopify solutions’ creatives, including the default solution. If you don’t want “In-Ad Checkout” in your ads, click “View Design Options” and explore other standard dynamic solutions without this feature. |
Review and edit your advertiser and campaign information and ad targeting setup if necessary.
Then, click the “Serve My Ads” button and enter your payment information for Adacado to complete your ad creation and run your campaign. If needed, you can save your progress and continue later by clicking the link “Save and Continue Later” below the “Serve My Ads” button.
After saving your billing information, you will be directed to the “Campaign Analytics” page. Here, you’ll receive a message stating that your ads will be ready shortly. Your ads will go live immediately after getting creative approval from Basis, our partner DSP, and ad networks, which may take up to 24 hours.
If you’ve chosen a retargeting solution for your campaign, it’s essential to implement Adacado pixel on your Shopify store. This ensures that the “Last Viewed” product targeting functions as expected.

If you’re already an Adacado user with existing advertisers and campaigns on our platform, you can seamlessly broaden your capabilities by adding new Shopify customers to your account and creating product-based dynamic shoppable ads. This can be achieved through our direct Shopify integration via Dispatch.
1. Click the list icon next to the advertiser name box and select “New Advertiser.”
2. Then, choose the “QuickStart – Dynamic Shoppable Ads (Shopify)” option.
3. After selecting the option, follow the same setup from step 2 as described in the earlier steps for the Shopify Quickstart via Dispatch for new Adacado users.
If you prefer not to use the Quickstart process, you can still create shoppable ads with the “In-Ad Checkout” feature through direct Shopify integration with Dispatch. Follow these steps:
When adding a new advertiser, select the “Quickstart – Standard Dynamic Ads” option to create an advertiser with the Shopify store information.
After creating the advertiser, you’ll be directed to the “Campaign Solutions” page. On this page, click the advertiser’s name in the platform header, and select “Products” to enter the advertiser’s product settings.
On the Advertiser’s Product Settings page, choose “Shopify (via Dispatch)” as a data source.
Next, enter the Shopify store URL and click the “Connect to Dispatch” button. Please refer to steps 2 to 4 in the “New to Adacado?” section accordingly, depending on the status of the Dispatch app installation in the Shopify store. Then click “Proceed to Inventory Mapping.”
Review and adjust data mapping if necessary and schedule data feed update, which is set to daily as default.
Once the Dispatch setup is complete, click “Add a new Campaign” in the platform header.
Then, filter campaign solutions by “Shopify Checkout” and select the one that suits your needs.
Upload a company logo and customize ad creatives as needed. To preview ads with products downloaded via Dispatch, click the green play button.
To experience the “In-Ad Checkout”, click the “Buy Now” button in the ads.
After the ad creative is complete, complete the campaign setup by reviewing the predefined media channel configuration and product targeting option from your chosen solution. Don’t forget to enter your billing information to push your campaign to go live.
If you’ve chosen a retargeting solution for your campaign, it’s essential to implement Adacado pixel on your Shopify store. This ensures that the “Last Viewed” product targeting functions as expected, enhancing conversions with the “In-Ad Checkout” embedded in your ads.
